Day Treatment
Village Care of New York’s AIDS Day Treatment Programs are responsive and inclusive treatment settings providing adult day health care for persons living with HIV/AIDS.
Day treatment's professional staff takes an interdisciplinary approach in developing an individualized plan of care for each client. Staff assists in the management of the many challenging situations faced by persons living with HIV/AIDS, coordinating, where appropriate, with other Network of AIDS Services programs.
The two day treatment centers have extended weekday hours and are open on weekends, and provide meals and MetroCards
Services are for Medicaid-eligible persons. Applicants must be at least 18, live in the metropolitan area and require HIV/AIDS medical monitoring.
